Free Shred Event at Laurel Branch on May 20th
Get rid of your sensitive documents securely at Tower's Shred Day on Saturday, May 20. The free event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the parking lot of Tower's Laurel Headquarters Building.
Our shred days are fun for the whole family, while helping our members prevent fraud. There is a limit of five boxes of documents per car. While you're there, enjoy free refreshments, games and prizes.

Last Call for Scholarship Entries
May 15, 2023 is the deadline to apply for a TowerCares Foundation College Scholarship. Click here to register and apply. Only online applications will be accepted.
Who is Eligible to Apply?
The TowerCares Foundation Scholarship Program is open to all current high school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores and juniors, who are enrolled or plan to enroll in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Foreign Language Linguistics major.
Applicants must also meet the following eligibility requirements*
- Must attend an accredited U.S. two- or four-year college/university full-time for the 2023-24 academic year.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and reside in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania or Virginia.
The Selection Process
Scholarship entries will be evaluated by an independent selection committee and recipients will be selected based on consideration of the following criteria:
- Academic performance
- Demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
- Work experience
- Statement of career and educational goals and objectives
Additional consideration will be given to children/dependents of active duty military and veterans from all branches of the Armed Forces, including Reserve and Guard units.
The scholarship must be used for tuition and tuition-related expenses at accredited, two- or four-year colleges/universities. Award checks will be made payable to the college or university.

*TowerCares scholarship winners are not eligible for additional TowerCares scholarships. TowerCares Foundation and Tower Federal Credit Union employees, board members, committee members, and their immediate family members are also ineligible.
Come to Tower's Annual Meeting
Tower's Annual Meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Tower Headquarters, 7901 Sandy Spring Road in Laurel, Md.
The Board of Directors' election results will be announced at the meeting. Come meet your newly elected Board and members of Tower's Senior Management team.
All Tower members are welcome to attend.
