Qualifying Direct Deposit: Qualifying direct deposits are recurring electronic deposits of salary, pension, or government benefits (such as Social Security) from an employer or government agency. One-time direct deposits do not qualify. Direct deposits must occur on a recurring schedule (e.g., bi-weekly or monthly). Each qualifying direct deposit must be $1,000 or more.
Non-Qualifying Direct Deposits: Deposits that do not meet the qualifying direct deposit definition above are not eligible. Examples include, but are not limited to, person-to-person payments (such as Zelle®), account transfers, deposits or transfers from financial institutions or brokerages, and one-time ACH credits.
How to Qualify for the $300 Bonus: To receive the $300 bonus, you must complete all of the following: 1) Open a new Tower checking account between 6/15/2026 and 9/30/2026, subject to approval; and 2) Enter promo code ORIOLES when applying online or provide the code to a Tower representative when applying in a branch; and 3) Receive qualifying recurring direct deposits of $1,000 or more each into the new checking account within 90 days of account opening. After all qualifying requirements are completed, the bonus will be deposited into your new checking account within 60 days.
Additional Terms and Details: To receive the bonus, the account must remain open and in good standing at the time of payout. If the checking account is closed or qualifying recurring direct deposits are discontinued within six months of account opening, Tower may recoup the bonus.
