If you are a federal employee or government contractor and concerned about the impact of federal government automatic spending cuts and possible furloughs, Tower is here to assist you.

Loan Assistance
If you need financial assistance, Tower offers a special loan program.

  • Loan amounts up to $10,000 (single) or $20,000 (joint)

Direct Deposit
It is important to plan now for any interruption in your normal payroll direct deposit to your Tower accounts. You may need to change some or all of the previous financial arrangements you have made—such as automatic transfers, payments, allocations or debits from your accounts. Tower will continue to process automatic payments and transfers normally. Please contact the Member Service Center or visit a branch to make other arrangements to cover these transfers or allocations to avoid account overdrafts.

  • If you have scheduled recurring automatic payroll transfers or allocations from your Tower account that receives direct deposit to another Tower deposit or loan account, these will occur as usual, as long as funds are available.
  • If you have set up automatic debits from outside companies, or scheduled automatic transfers to other companies from your Tower accounts, these will also occur as usual, as long as funds are in your accounts.
  • If you are a Home Banking user and your bills are paid automatically through online Bill Payment, or if you have set up scheduled recurring transfers to other Tower accounts in Home Banking, these payments will continue to be made, as long as funds are available.
