Tower Federal Credit Union Opens Annapolis Branch
New Branch Marks Tower's Fifth in Anne Arundel County
Laurel, MD—Tower Federal Credit Union opened a new branch in Annapolis, Md., on August 17. Located at 2525 Riva Road, the 1,650 square-foot branch will serve the credit union's Annapolis-area members, as well as attract potential member companies and associations.
The Annapolis branch featured Remote Teller Stations, which function as a walk-up version of the drive-through window. Inside the branch, members talk to live tellers through a screen and handset, and transactions occur through a pneumatic tube. This speeds up service because of shorter lines, maintains the touch of a personal interaction, improves safety and ensures privacy. The branch also features a 24-hour walk-up ATM.
"Even in today's economic environment, Tower is growing because we carefully evaluate how we can improve members' experiences as well as offer competitive financial products," says Richard Brake, Senior Vice President, Member Services. "Convenience is a significant benefit so we offer Remote Teller Stations, and we open branches in locations such as Annapolis to serve our members living and working in Anne Arundel County."The Annapolis branch is the fifth Tower branch in Anne Arundel County, Brake says, joining branches in Pasadena, Gambrills, Millersville and Arundel Mills.
Tower is slated to open another branch at the National Business Park in Annapolis Junction, Md., in the fall, bringing the total number of the credit union's community branches to eleven. In addition to Anne Arundel County, Tower has branch locations in Prince George's, Howard and Baltimore Counties. For branch locations and hours, visit towerfcu.org.
