Tower Federal Credit Union Hosts 11th Annual Meeting and Dinner, Honors Employees
Laurel, MD—Over 360 Tower Federal Credit Union employees gathered for the 11th Annual Employee Meeting on March 26 at the BWI Airport Hilton® in Linthicum Heights, Md. During the meeting, Tower's President and CEO, Martin Breland, along with members of Tower's management team, provided an overview of the credit union's 2014 accomplishments. They also unveiled new plans for 2015 and expressed appreciation to Tower employees for another successful year.
“I am truly proud to have such a talented staff that is capable of navigating through the necessary changes at Tower that positively impact our growth as well as the financial well-being of our members,” said Breland.
The theme of the meeting was “Go Green.” All employees received a cooler bag and mug emblazoned with the Tower logo, along with a handout describing ways to help the environment at work, at home and on the go.
Prior to the formal meeting and dinner, employees joined in playing a series of four indoor putt-putt golf games. The games promoted a particular Tower product or service: “Drive On” for auto loans, “Open House” for home loans, “iGolf” for Mobile Banking and “Tower Tee Off” for savings accounts. Employees who participated in the games had a chance to win a 40-inch Samsung Smart TV®, Bose® Soundlink® BLUETOOTH® Speaker, or a money tree with assorted retail gift cards.
The meeting concluded with a presentation of Value Awards given to employees whose performance exceeded the credit union's expectations.
