FREE Text Banking* is a quick and convenient way to stay on top of your Tower accounts on the go. Your account information is just a text away—as simple as sending a text message to a friend. Text Banking is available to all Home Banking members.
To get started, login to Home Banking and activate your phone. Go to Additional Services, Text Banking & E-mail Alerts and follow the simple steps to activate the service. You’ll receive a validation code to use to complete your phone setup.
Once your phone is activated, text this command to 454545:
|BAL||Check your primary account balance.|
|BAL ALL||Check the balances on all your Tower accounts.|
|BAL CHK||Check the balance on your checking account(s).|
|BAL SAV||Check the balance on your savings account(s).|
|TRANS(amount)||Include amount to transfer to your primary account.|
|LAST||See the last 5 transactions on your primary account.|
|STOP||Deactivate text banking.|
|HELP||See a quick list of text banking commands.|
Text & E-mail Alerts
Keep tabs on your accounts and help protect against fraud with account alerts in Home Banking. You can choose to receive a text or e-mail alert when:
- Your balance goes above or below a certain amount you've set.
- A large deposit or withdrawal posts to your account.
- Your Tower loan payment is due or overdue.
- A check clears your account.
- Your Tower Share Certificate is nearing its maturity date.
You can also choose to receive a weekly text with your balance every Friday.
To get started, login to Home Banking and go to Notifications.
Please note that to ensure the security and privacy of your account, Tower never sends confidential information—such as usernames, passwords or complete account numbers—via Text Banking.
Helpful Text Banking Tips:
- Text messages aren't case sensitive—you can use bal or BAL.
- To save time, add 454545 to your list of mobile contacts.
