Technology Upgrade Coming Feb. 19-21: What You Need to Know

It’s an exciting time to be a member of Tower! We will be conducting a technology upgrade over Presidents Day weekend, February 19–21, 2022. This upgrade will allow us to serve you better, offer enhanced products and digital services, and provide innovations in the future.

The upgrade will begin on Friday, February 18, 2022, at 6 p.m. ET and continue through the weekend. We will reopen after the federal holiday on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, and resume normal business hours.

We don’t want you to miss out on any important notices or messages, so if you haven’t already, please update your contact information, including mailing address and e-mail address. Login to Home Banking or our Mobile App and visit My Profile.

Schedule Online Bill Payments and Transfers in Advance
We advise you to schedule online bill payments and transfers to process prior to upgrade weekend. Transfers and bill payments will not be available or process during the upgrade. Learn more.

What Will Change and What Will Stay the Same?
While the technology system upgrade will provide improvements like faster service and enhanced account statements, after the upgrade is complete most of your day-to-day banking should not change.

What is NOT Changing

  • Main member number
  • Routing number and checking account numbers
  • Direct deposits and scheduled transfers
  • Debit cards, credit cards and checks will all function as usual
  • Card and ATM PINs
  • Home Banking and Mobile App usernames/passwords

What WILL Change

Some Account Numbers Will Change
While your main member number will not change, account numbers for certain products will be different. Account numbers that currently use suffixes (e.g., 00 for Prime Share Savings) will now have their own unique account number associated with your main member number. Your member number will become an identification number we can use to locate any account you are connected to. Learn more.

NEW! View All of Your Joint Accounts
After the upgrade, managing all of your joint accounts in one place will be much easier! All accounts will be combined under your main member number. This means that ALL of your accounts—including joint accounts—will now appear and be visible in digital banking. Learn more.

NEW! Enhanced Member Statements
After the upgrade, your monthly member statement will have a fresh, new look that is easier to read. Learn more.
