Tower's Online Membership Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Tower Federal Credit Union. If you are already a Tower member, please login to Tower's Home Banking and go to Open More Accounts to add additional accounts. You will need the following information on hand before you apply for Tower membership:
- U.S. Social Security number
- A valid form of identification: driver's license or other government-issued ID, Military ID or U.S. Passport
- Previous home address (if you have lived at your current home address less than two years)
- Credit or debit card, or U.S. checking or savings account to fund your new account(s)
For your protection, your application session will automatically time out if there is no activity for 30 minutes. All information will be lost if this occurs.
Please note that you must be at least 18 years of age to open your own online account. To open an account for a minor, or if you have any questions about applying for membership, contact the Member Service Center by using Tower's E-mail Manager or call 301-497-7000 or 800-787-8328.
At the end of this session, we will provide you with a Membership Application. After you complete the online membership process, you will need to print and sign the application and mail it to Tower within 30 days. You must also include a copy of a valid driver's license, or other identification document, for each person on the account. Until we receive these two items, your account will remain restricted, with limits to your ability to withdraw funds. If Tower does not receive your signed application and identification document(s) within 30 days of submitting the application, the account will be closed.
