Make the easy switch to Tower |
||||
Becoming a Tower member is a smart decision. And we make it as simple as possible to switch your current accounts to Tower. Follow the steps below. Easy, smooth, no hassles. |
||||
| 1. |
Join Tower and open a checking
account by completing our Membership
Application. Current members can sign up for a checking account by logging
into Home
Banking and filling out the checking account application. If you’re
not already using Home Banking, sign
up today! |
|||
| 2. |
Change your direct deposits
to your Tower checking or savings account. Complete and print the Direct
Deposit Authorization Form and give it to your employer or any other
source of direct deposit funds. |
|||
| 3. |
Change automatic payments
or withdrawals from your previous accounts over to your Tower checking
or savings account. Complete and print the Change
Automatic Withdrawal Form. Send it to each company making automatic
withdrawals from your current accounts. Don’t forget to change any
automatic payments that use your old debit or check card number. |
|||
| *Note: Some of your automatic
withdrawals may have been set up by you online. These can be switched over
to your Tower account simply by editing the information online, rather than
filling out a form. |
||||
| 4. |
Close your old accounts after
all checks and transactions have cleared. Complete and print the Close
Account Form, then send it to your previous financial institution. |
|||
| There's no need to wait to receive a check of
your remaining balance by mail. With Tower's online Funds
Transfer you can move your money to your Tower accounts within days.
Standard transfers to Tower are free and only $5.00 for next day transfers.
