Summary of Position:

  • This position is responsible for the collection, maintenance and resolution of consumer loans up to and over180 days delinquent, real estate loans more than 15 days delinquent, repossessions and member bankruptcy cases to protect the assets of Tower Federal Credit Union (TFCU).
  • Monitor and take action to resolve chronic delinquencies over 180 days on consumer loans and real estate loans delinquent more than 15 days to protect assets of TFCU.  
  • Initiate and support foreclosure proceedings on real estate loans.
  • Negotiates loan workouts and/or loan modifications.
  • Represent TFCU in bankruptcy cases and monitor proceedings to protect the interests of TFCU.
  • Prepares detailed loan modification, delinquency repossession and other end of month reports and notifies the Collection Supervisor of potential losses to the credit union.

 Education & Experience:

Associates college degree (2 year program) with 3 or more years collections experience. Without degree should have 5 or more years relevant experience. Knowledge of foreclosure, loan modification, repossession and bankruptcy laws and regulations.

HR Generalist

Summary of Position:

  • This position is responsible for delivering various functional services through the Human Resources Department to, and on behalf of, Tower employees. These services include: employment, training, compensation and benefits administration. The incumbent is also responsible for utilizing and analyzing the results of needs assessments, selected training programs facilitation, coordinating projects and recurring events including new employee orientation, job fairs, employee involvement and recognition events and benefits open enrollments.
  • The incumbent serves in a generalist role, in the functional areas highlighted below, as a knowledgeable resource responding to employee and management inquiries, interpreting and communicating various Human Resources policies and procedures, applicable laws, standards and government regulations.
  • Organizes and facilitates classroom and/or alternative delivery instruction for new and existing employees on job related functions, and specifically with Credit Union policy and standards (i.e.: MSE, MSR & Teller training, compliance, security, sales & service, etc.)
  • Responsible for evaluating, documenting and reporting the achievements of new employees and communicating to the appropriate supervisor, Senior Training & Development Specialist, and Training/OD Supervisor. Conducts needs analyses and confers with supervisors/managers to diagnose performance gaps and as needed develops and tracks implementation of Individual Development Plans.
  • On a scheduled, special assignment, or ad hoc basis, the incumbent sources qualified candidates, screens, interviews, and utilizes all available assessments and resources to fill entry level, professional and technical job openings in coordination with the Employment Supervisor and/or Senior Employment Specialist.
  • Provides support to the Supervisor in terms of monitoring internal trends (i.e. turnover, employee opinion survey results) and program utilization (medical insurance, 401k) to identify deficiencies with the whole total compensation program to assure meeting the needs of Tower and staff. This incumbent may provide assistance in administration, developing and recommending new programs or enhancements based on cost/benefit analyses, surveys, benchmarking, and alignment with TFCU's philosophy and strategic direction.

 Education and Experience:

AA degree plus minimum 3 years direct experience with adult learning, training or education, plus experience within one or more HR functional areas (i.e., benefits administration and/or compensation analysis, pay processing, employment/recruiting.)

  • Additional experience desired via completion of professional development or certification as PHR.
  • In lieu of AA educational background, minimum five years of current, successful experience in adult learning, training, or education performing skilled work in a human resources environment supplemented by experience within 3 or more additional functional areas as described above.
