Branch Specialist

Summary of Position:

Branch Specialists must be dependable and flexible. They will travel to all Tower branches and be able to perform any branch position (Branch Representative, Member Service Representative, and Teller). In addition they will float to the Member Service Center and Business Development departments. For all locations, Branch Specialists must be aware of and follow every branch's or department's security procedures. The Branch Specialist is the primary contact for all potential, new, and existing members and provides all types of product and loan services: accepts various applications and determines membership eligibility and appropriateness; cross-sells a full range of financial products and services; and performs administrative duties, including system data entry and information retrieval, as needed to support member service duties, ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulatory statutes, as well as internal policies and procedures. The Branch Specialist position requires a broad scope of knowledge about products, services, regulations and the overall functions and procedures of the operational departments within Tower. Performs teller functions on a regular basis while adhering to all teller standards.

 Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or Associates Degree in related field or 2-3 years relevant administrative/business experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to operate PC in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Ability to operate Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with proficiency.
  • Ability to utilize computer-based training and e-learning programs/ resources using developmental software, relevant Internet and Intranet applications.
  • Ability to enter data, sort and extract, understand the application of and interpret for others information derived from database systems.
  • Ability to map PC workstations when floating between multiple and varied locations.
  • Ability to serve as branch resource for more complex computer and system related issues.

Business Integration Analyst

Principal Accountability:

  • Collaborates with end users, analysts, and management in conceptualizing the development of new software integrations and applications by analyzing existing workflow and understanding current system challenges in order to meet operational needs.
  • Acts as a liaison for Technical Services, IS Operations, and Software Services to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
  • Analyzes and evaluates existing business systems and procedures in an effort to further Tower's core values of Service Excellence and Innovation.

 Education and Experience:

BS in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering, and at least 2-5 years related work experience required (without degree a minimum of 7+ years) as outlined below:

  • Prior experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues highly desired.
  • Specific experience effectively participating in or providing leadership with projects and preparing cost-benefit analyses.
  • Prefer hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans.
  • Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products i.e. Access, Excel, and Word.
  • Proficiency in a variety of programming/scripting languages, including Java, .NET, SQL, Perl.
  • Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices.
  • Maintains current knowledge security techniques and standard practice.
  • Extensive relational database and operating systems experience with MSSQL.
  • Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including IIS, Apache.

Compliance Services Auditor

Summary of Position:

  • The Compliance Services Auditor is responsible for providing support in the quality control reviews of mortgage lending activities in order to comply with requirements of Tower’s Seller-Servicer Agreement with FNMA and with the terms of Tower’s Quality Control Program approved by FHA.
  • This incumbent will also assist the Compliance Services Auditor in ensuring TFCU’s compliance with other pertinent laws and regulations. This position also provides assistance/support with branch controls reviews under the team leadership of the Senior Compliance Services Auditor. 
  • In conjunction with the Senior Compliance Services Auditor, performs Quality Control reviews of mortgages originated, summarizing results, and meets with management/audit representatives to discuss concerns.

 Education & Experience:

  • High School diploma plus 1-2 years related experience, preferably with a financial institution and
  • Highly prefer a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a mortgage loan processor, closer or underwriter with an emphasis on conventional real estate loan products or
  • At time of hire, must have successful completion of courses or seminars related to real estate lending processes, underwriting and escrow or
  • On the job, demonstrates an understanding of the necessary documentation requirements for processing and obtaining underwriting approval

Product Planner

Summary of Position:

Research, evaluate, recommend and coordinate implementation of Tower's product marketing plans to provide members with competitive products that effectively meet their needs. Research and define new product requirements based upon feedback from members, and competitior and market analysis, and make recommendations to implement them as either enhancements to the existing products or new products to successfully compete for members' financial business. Coordinates Tower Member Services procedures to assure effective delivery of products. Monitor and interpret Federal, State and NCUA regulations to assure compliant operation of Tower Federal Credit Union.

 Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3-4 years related experience in product development or product implementation.
  • 6-8 years related experience may be subsituted in lieu of education.
  • Working knowledge of direct marketing.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to create, edit and format word-processing documents.
  • Ability to create and format spreadsheets using formulas and data tools. Also possess ability to create relevant and readable graphs and charts.
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint to create presentations and handouts.
