About Tower

Established in 1953, with seven original members contributing just $5 each, Tower Federal Credit Union is the largest federal credit union in Maryland with over $2.60 billion in assets.

Headquartered in Laurel, Md., Tower provides a full array of financial products and services and serves over 126,000 members worldwide. We serve our local-area members with 11 branches in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard and Prince George’s counties and five branches at Fort Meade, as well as online services at towerfcu.org. Members can access their accounts at over 40,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide.

Tower remains financially strong, despite the current economic downturn, and our strong commitment to the regional economy is exemplified by our investment in consumer loans and mortgages. Over the past five years, Tower has granted over $3 billion in loans to members, of which $2 billion were mortgages.

In addition to mortgages, we offer low-rate home equity and auto loans, free checking, direct deposit, debit and credit cards, IRAs, financial planning, investment management, financial counseling, educational materials, online banking, mobile banking and more.
